The Fire and Emergency Board seeks your views on its proposed Rules under which the Fire and Emergency Dispute Resolution Scheme will operate.

The Scheme will be open to the public as well as Fire and Emergency volunteers and will replace the Scheme that has been in place on an interim basis since Fire and Emergency’s establishment on 1 July 2017.

The Rules, once finalised post consultation, must be tabled in the House of Representatives and are not dissimilar to regulations in many respects. This dictates their format and style to a certain degree.  While we have attempted to make them as readable as possible within that context, we have also produced some summary material which we hope you will find helpful.  These can be found in the related section below the online survey link on this page.
